Getting started

What can I do on Flowmingo?: Let matching companies find you, have applications sent for you, or let us email hiring managers for you. You can also check your CV and practice an interview.
Do I need a different CV for each tool?: No. 1 CV upload powers everything.
Which countries have jobs?: The board has about 1,100 live jobs, mostly for India, the US and Singapore. Local jobs in other countries are not guaranteed.

Can I hide my current employer?: Yes. Add its name or email domain to your hide list. That list covers Get Discovered, Proactive Outreach and Auto-apply.
Is my Get Discovered profile public?: No. It has no public page and is not searchable on the web.
Can companies see my contact details through Get Discovered?: Only if they pay to see your full CV. Before that, your CV has your name, email, phone and links hidden. Companies see your initials, experience, skills and location, and your salary expectation if you chose to share it.

What happens after I turn on Get Discovered?: You appear in the candidate lists of companies with a matching job. Invitations arrive by email and on your Flowmingo dashboard.
How does Proactive Outreach work?: It finds companies that hire for your role and emails a hiring manager or founder from your Gmail. Each email is written from your CV for that company.
Does Proactive Outreach need my Gmail?: Yes. It works only with Gmail. Emails go from your account, and replies arrive there.
Can I see the emails sent for me?: Yes. Your account shows every email, its company, the day it went and whether it was opened.
How does Auto-apply choose jobs?: It checks hourly for jobs with a 78% match or higher, and you can raise that minimum. It sends up to 10 applications a day.
What does CV Evaluation tell me?: Your score out of 10, the skills and details your CV is missing, and live jobs you match. It takes about 2 minutes, and you can rerun it as often as you like.
Where can I practice for my interview?: Free practice is in your interview invitation. The Practice page in your dashboard is Premium Practice, which is paid. Only Premium Practice includes instant feedback.

Can I use Flowmingo without paying?: Yes. Get Discovered, Proactive Outreach, Auto-apply and CV Evaluation are free, and so is practice through your interview invitation. Premium Practice is optional and paid.
Is Premium Practice a subscription?: No. It is a single purchase of about US$7.99.
Does paying change my interview score?: No. The AI that scores your answers cannot see who paid.

What can Proactive Outreach access in Gmail?: It can send emails as you and read message headers, such as the sender and subject, but never the text of your emails. It also receives your name and email address.
Who sees my CV Evaluation result?: Only you. Checking your CV does not make you visible to companies.
What happens when I turn off Get Discovered?: Companies stop seeing you. Switch it back on whenever you want.
