1) What you are agreeing to

By choosing to participate, you give Flowmingo permission to create and use a copy of your interview recording(s) and related materials for AI development and evaluation, and to share the resulting dataset with third parties for the same purposes, subject to the restrictions described below.

2) Data covered

If you opt in, the data may include:

Your interview recording (audio and/or video, depending on what was collected in your interview experience);
A transcript of your recording (if generated);
Limited technical and quality metadata (e.g., duration, language label, audio/video quality signals); and
General, non-identifying interview context (e.g., competency tags or generic question templates that do not identify the hiring company).

3) How we use it

Flowmingo may use the contributed data for:

Developing, training, testing, evaluating, and benchmarking AI models and systems;
Improving model quality, robustness, fairness, safety, and performance;
Creating de-identified or pseudonymised datasets and documentation (e.g., data cards, evaluation notes); and
Sharing/licensing the dataset to third parties for AI development and evaluation under strict contractual controls.

4) De-identification and residual risk

We will take measures designed to remove or reduce direct identifiers where feasible (for example, removing names, contact details, and obvious identifiers). However, audio (and especially video) can sometimes still be identifying. De-identification/pseudonymisation reduces risk but does not guarantee that re-identification is impossible.

5) Who may receive the dataset and what they must not do

We may share the dataset with organizations working on AI development and evaluation (for example, AI labs, researchers, and technology providers). Any recipient must agree by contract to restrictions including:

No attempting to identify you or any other individual;
No creating or using biometric identifiers (such as voiceprints or faceprints) to identify or match individuals;
No using the dataset to make decisions about any person's employment, credit, insurance, housing, education admissions, or similar high-impact decisions;
No combining the dataset with other data to try to identify individuals;
No onward sale, public release, or redistribution of the dataset; and
Implementing appropriate security measures and deleting/returning the dataset when required.

6) Your choices and withdrawal

You can choose not to participate and still complete your interview normally.

If you participate, you may withdraw your consent later by contacting us using the method provided in the consent screen or in our Privacy Policy. After we confirm your request, we will stop including your data in future dataset releases where reasonably feasible. If your data has already been shared or used to train models, it may not be technically feasible to remove its influence from models or materials already created. We will disclose this limitation transparently and apply your withdrawal to future releases.

7) Retention and versioning

We will retain the contributed data and related consent records for as long as needed to support the purposes described above, maintain auditability, comply with legal obligations, and manage dataset versioning. We maintain records linking your consent to dataset release versions and will honor withdrawal for future releases as described in Section 6.

8) No hiring-company access to your choice

The hiring company will not be told whether you participate. Your participation decision is used only to control whether your data is included in the separate dataset created for AI development and evaluation.
